How do I know if I’m wearing my OPROtec PPE face mask properly?

If you have your mask on properly, the white, smooth side will be next to your face and the (blue) colour facing outwards. You will know that your mask is the correct way up if the metal nosepiece is at the top and the pleats face downwards away from your nose.

Can I reuse my OPROtec PPE face mask?

Masks are intended for single use. They should not be removed and then replaced and used again. Masks must be replaced if they become damp and must be replaced immediately in the following two instances:

  1. When the mask is contaminated with pollutants such as blood or body fluids.
  2. When the mask is damaged.
Can I share my OPROtec PPE face mask with anyone else?

No. Masks are designed for single use by one person and should be disposed of after wear.

Should I still practise social distancing when I’m wearing a face mask?

Yes, social distancing should still be observed together with other government guidance such as frequent hand washing or sanitising. 

What should I do with my face mask when I’ve finished wearing it?

Handle the mask by the ear loops and do not touch the fabric. Place it in a plastic bag and then dispose of it in a lidded bin. Finally, wash your hands for a minimum of 20 seconds.

What is the shelf-life of an OPROtec PPE Face Mask?

Our face masks have a shelf life of 10 years.

Are your face masks latex free?

Yes, our OPROtec PPE face masks are latex-free.

What is the size of your face masks?

Our face masks measure 175mm x 95mm.

How can I wash my OPROtec products?

We want your OPROtec Sports Protection product to give you a lifetime’s service, but to do that it needs a little help from you when it comes to caring for it.

Hand washing is definitely best to protect the techno fabrics in your support or sleeve. Use a mild detergent without bleaching agents, take out any removable hinges and avoid using fabric conditioner. Please don’t put your OPROtec sports protection product in a tumble dryer as you won’t be too happy with the results!

Allow your sleeve or support to air dry thoroughly before using it again.

Regular washing following these instructions will ensure a long-lasting OPROtec product.

Please note, PPE products are single-use only and should not be washed. 

 

What should I do if there is a discrepancy with my order?

We use the latest software in our warehouse to ensure you receive your order as expected; however, if there are any discrepancies with your order, you must Contact Us as soon as possible.

If you have been shipped the incorrect goods then please do accept our apologies. Please use the free returns label to return the incorrect items and any replacements will be sent to you at no extra cost to yourself.

Please note: We are not able to refund the cost of returning goods by other methods – please use the free returns label provided or Contact Us to obtain a replacement label.

We recommend packaging the items securely and requesting proof of postage (free from a Post Office) for all returns. Please retain proof of postage as you are responsible for the return(s) until they have been received by us.

Do you have a return policy?

We offer a 14 day return guarantee for items purchased through this site. If you would like to return your order, please use the free return postage label which came with your order and fill in the returns form.

If there is no return label, please Contact Us to receive a returns label.

The product must be unworn and in resalable condition in order for a refund to be processed.

Please note for all PPE Face Protection products: these need to be returned unopened with seals intact.

We cannot process exchanges. If you would like to return your order for a different size please follow the return instructions to obtain a refund and then place a new order on our website for the preferred size.

If you paid for an upgraded delivery service, we will only refund this if incorrect items were delivered or the items are faulty.
